The “Rule of Thirds

is the most basic and first lesson learned in any apsect of portrait photography. It is a helpful in portrait photography but it also leaves room for some different type of photographs. It’s very simple. An easy way to explain, is if you have a try for yourself. Just take your camera, and instead of shooting directly (with the subject lined up in the middle, just offset the subject to the left or right a little. Voila! that’s all there is too it essentially. I could get more technical, but I’ll spare you! And there’s your tip of the day!
