Film. It has always held a special place in my heart. I was first introduced to photography when digital wasn’t really a thought. It’s hard to believe that most photographers still used film as their main medium only twelve years ago. I was captivated by every process that went into film. From loading black and white film stock into my 1983 Minolta XG-A to carefully and thoughtfully mixing the chemicals to develop the film- then taking it with photo paper into the darkroom where I’d meticulously timed and exposed my film onto the paper using an enlarger. I went down the line: chemicals, water, chemicals, water, then hung the photo to dry. I can still hear my photography instructor, a Corona High School legend- Mr. Nino, utter his favorite response when I turned in my project, “Spot toning!”. Contiune Reading This Blog »

You can’t beat the warm Southern California weather and a sunny day at Laguna Beach. What’s even better is that teal maxi dress Sam wore in her photos. I love when I get to work with couples who have a natural chemistry with one another because it makes my job super easy. No coaxing necessary here! Just two people in love spending quality time at the beach.

Spring is just around the corner, and after all the holidays (Christmas, New Years, and Valentine’s Day) tons of engagements happened everywhere! So now that the weather is warming up, many couples will want to take their engagement photos at the beach.
